Railway enthusiasts and modellers might enjoy watching this clip of a video I dug up showing a time-lapse of a real switch and crossing renewal in the UK. It was one of many stages during a re-signalling project, can anyone guess the location?

This time-lapse is only a part of the full video and has been sped up further. The new S&C panels are constructed on site prior to the renewal. During the renewal you can see them being lifted into position by a crane after the old layout had been removed and the ballast replaced.
